Downhill

July 15, 2011

Wanting to landslide

Takes a peculiar type of courage

Forgotten lives

Possible blinds

Pulled on past delights

Halfway down

Shirt tails loosen

Catching bugs and trees

While flora laughs at toes exposed

One’s righted once again.

But not without the taste

Of air

Of spray

Of earth

Unforeseen.
