Rhapsody in silence

Moving to the grooves

A leaf could roll inside my house

Birds could sing outside all windows

And I’d be deaf to all

For with no one about, no one near

The song that fills my head and heart

Is the song that’s filled with silence.

 

Rhapsody of silence

Hiding in the depths

Of longing, loving, lingering

On the tips of tongues and searches for joy.

 

Rhapsody of silence

Appears when no one’s looking

And strikes the heart with solace

Never found before.
